Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Banking Operations Administrator to join their Guernsey-based team on a permanent, part-time basis, working 27.5 hours per week. The ideal candidate will work mornings only, with a start time of approximately 9:00 a.m. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with prior experience in banking or financial services operations to join a collaborative, forward-thinking team. The role focuses on the efficient processing of transactions, regulatory compliance, and delivering high levels of service to both clients and internal stakeholders. Job Duties: Support day-to-day banking and treasury operations, including deposits, withdrawals and transfers Maintain accurate and confidential client records within the banking system Assist with preparing reports and documentation for internal and external audits Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve operational issues Provide support to client servicing teams by investigating and resolving enquiries Monitor operational risks and escalate discrepancies to the Operations Manager Contribute to implementing new processes and systems to enhance efficiency Stay up to date with banking regulations and ensure compliance at all times Job Requirements: Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment Understanding of banking operations, regulatory compliance and payment systems (e.g. SWIFT) Strong awareness of risk and controls High attention to detail and accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking software applications Excellent organisational and multitasking skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment What You’ll Love:Our client is a purpose-led financial services organisation committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
