Our client is seeking a Manager to join their Trust & Corporate team on a permanent, full-time basis, based in Guernsey. This pivotal role involves managing a team, overseeing a portfolio of clients, and maintaining excellent service delivery standards. You will act as the main point of contact for client relationships while also supporting strategic initiatives and contributing to the business’s operational effectiveness. Job Duties: Ensure a high level of client service and that communications are responded to within two business days Oversee and manage the workflow of all client-related requests and ensure effective action is taken Maintain and build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries through excellent service Act as Client Manager for all entities in your team’s portfolio and resolve client issues Provide high-level technical support to clients, the team, and other business functions Attend client meetings and act as an authorised signatory for the business Participate in UK client meetings with the relevant Director and involve team members where appropriate to support relationship development Support strategic direction by working closely with the Board of Directors Liaise with the Risk team to ensure compliance requirements for the portfolio are met Ensure client profiles and risk assessments are current and accurate Actively monitor task completion within the team, ensuring regular review and updates Manage financial reporting processes, including signing financial statements and clearing accounting queries Guide and support team members in line with the company’s People Management Framework Maintain accurate time billing and achieve both individual and team billing targets Attend and contribute to Management, Risk, and Compliance Committee meetings Ensure invoices are raised and collections followed up in a timely manner Ensure compliance with FATCA/CRS requirements, including collection of relevant forms Prepare required documentation for Client Committee review Support the Board with projects and additional tasks as required Demonstrate the company’s values in all areas of work Job Requirements: Holds or is working towards a relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, STEP, ICSA) Minimum five years’ post-qualification experience or ten years’ relevant industry experience Strong knowledge of fiduciary services and the associated regulatory framework Proven track record of successfully managing a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Strong leadership qualities with the ability to lead by example Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Positive, proactive attitude and a problem-solving mindset Self-motivated with the ability to work independently What You’ll Love:This is a diverse and high-impact role offering leadership responsibility within a progressive trust and corporate services environment.
