Our client is seeking a Business Planning Officer for a permanent, full-time role. You will support the Head of Business Planning in the collation, maintenance, and delivery of project and business reporting across the organisation. This role plays a critical part in supporting the coordination and administration of project planning, reporting, stakeholder management, budget tracking, and governance to improve the effective delivery of business change and operational activities. Job Duties: Support the Head of Business Planning in defining, prioritising, and monitoring the change and business-as-usual portfolios, including reporting functions Maintain up-to-date portfolio management processes and ensure changes are documented, authorised, and communicated Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely provision of reporting data for decision-making Assist Project Managers with the development and implementation of templates, tools, and processes to support project delivery Provide full administrative support including meeting coordination, agenda collation, minute-taking, and document distribution Coordinate the deployment and logistics of project and contractor resources, including travel and expense arrangements Maintain visibility and awareness of project progress across the organisation to support stakeholder communications Ensure projects follow the agreed governance framework, processes, and deliverables in line with portfolio standards Promote best practices across project management, reporting, documentation, and change control Ensure compliance with local legislation including Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities, and Data Protection Demonstrate the core values and behaviours required by the organisation Job Requirements: Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to self-motivate and handle competing priorities Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft reports and minutes Proven team player with the ability to build positive working relationships High attention to detail and disciplined approach to information handling and escalation Strong IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with Microsoft Project or similar tools is an advantage Awareness of project lifecycles, governance frameworks, and project management principles Prince2 Foundation or Practitioner qualification, or willingness to undertake training Strong analytical skills and ability to present accurate, clear data Confident communicator able to interact effectively at all levels Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines What You’ll Love:You will join an organisation committed to delivering impactful change through structured project delivery and robust governance.
