Our client is seeking a Mortgage Sales Executive to join their Guernsey-based team on a permanent, full-time basis. This role will support the growth of the mortgage business through direct customer contact and broker relationships, in line with strategic goals. The successful candidate will handle enquiries, conduct mortgage meetings, and promote the brand to new and existing customers across various markets. Job Duties: Engage with new and existing mortgage customers to build and maintain strong relationships Conduct mortgage meetings in line with regulatory requirements, preparing and packaging applications for review Work with brokers, estate agents, solicitors and other industry professionals to ensure smooth mortgage processing Represent the brand positively in the local and wider marketplace Support senior colleagues with project-based work as required Ensure excellent customer outcomes and champion the overall customer experience Promote the company’s mortgage products across local, UK and international broker networks Deliver excellent service to customers and key stakeholders Job Requirements: Full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is desired – mandatory for Guernsey-based colleagues (training may be provided) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both face-to-face and by phone Confident in dealing with external contacts and managing customer relationships Able to manage multiple mortgage applications simultaneously and meet deadlines Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Previous customer-facing experience Understanding of financial services regulation, AML obligations, and UK, Jersey, and Guernsey property and conveyancing processes (desirable) What You’ll Love:Our client is a well-established, community-focused financial institution with a strong presence in the mortgage market.
