Our client is seeking a Customer Operations Representative to join their Guernsey-based team on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a key role within the Customer Operations Department, providing excellent service across various channels including telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, representing the organisation with professionalism, warmth, and efficiency. Job Duties: Deliver exceptional customer service across all communication channels Respond to queries with clear, accurate, and relevant information Support customers using online banking services Handle incoming enquiries via telephone and email within agreed service standards Provide reception cover and carry out front-of-house duties as needed Manage and complete daily task lists in line with company expectations Assist and support vulnerable customers with sensitivity and care Maintain continued professional development in accordance with role requirements Carry out additional duties as required by management Job Requirements: GCSEs (A–C) in Maths and English or equivalent experience Previous experience in a customer service role Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle dissatisfaction professionally and empathetically Eagerness to learn new systems and develop product knowledge Understanding of banking products and services Right to work in Guernsey What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​Our client is a locally managed financial institution that values community, customer care, and employee development.
