Our client is seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to join their central services team on a full-time basis. This role involves the preparation of payrolls across different jurisdictions and the administration of employee benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The successful candidate will be integral to fostering a collaborative environment where every voice is valued, playing a key role in supporting the overall HR and organisational goals. Job Duties: Prepare payrolls for various jurisdictions. Administer pensions across multiple jurisdictions. Assist in updating insurance policies related to employee benefits. Complete the leaving process for exiting employees within required timeframes. Administer post-probation changes. Prepare salary review, bonus, and promotion letters for all offices. Coordinate queries and administration concerning holidays and absences affecting payroll. Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR data, including employee records. Manage colleague recognition schemes effectively. Ensure HR activities adhere to relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Collaborate with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and other relevant departments. Job Requirements: Proven experience running payrolls and/or administering benefits across various jurisdictions. Relevant generalist HR experience or demonstrable transferable experience from education or work. A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field is desirable. Working towards or holding a CIPD Level 3 qualification is preferred. Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organisational, time management, and problem-solving abilities. A positive attitude with the ability to engage with staff at all levels. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
