Our client is seeking a dedicated Senior Finance Administrator to join their Finance team based in Guernsey. This full-time role plays a vital part in supporting the Property team, with responsibilities focused on client account administration and conveyancing transactions. The successful candidate will embody a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and compliance within all finance-related activities. Job Duties: Collaborate closely with treasury and finance team members, adhering to established policies and procedures. Manage the treasury email inbox and promptly address any ad-hoc requests. Monitor client accounts for incoming funds. Ensure that records on internal systems are updated with all transactions in and out of the client accounts. Process payment requests received from Fee Earners and Secretaries. Regularly review client account balances at the matter level. Liaise with the relevant bank regarding payment information requests for large transactions. Place funds on deposit as requested and maintain updated accrued interest on matters holding funds. Work with the Credit Control team to apply client-held funds against outstanding invoices where possible. Process all conveyancing transactions in collaboration with the Property team, including payments for Document Duty, registration fees, purchase price funds, mortgage redemptions, sale proceeds, and ad-hoc payments as instructed. Oversee weekly billing of matters completed in contracts court and ensure payment of invoices from client account funds. Make payments to beneficiaries of estate matters and assist with balancing estate accounts when required. Job Requirements: Prior experience with the various duties outlined. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, at a high degree of competence. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
