Our client is on the lookout for a dedicated Temp Senior Business Analyst to join their Risk and Operations team on a fixed-term contract until the end of 2027. This pivotal role aims to drive the Data Transformation Programme, ensuring that the organisation enhances its capabilities to meet regulatory standards effectively. The successful candidate will support the integration of various data systems while upholding high-quality regulatory practices within the Bailiwick of Guernsey. Job Duties: Deliver high-quality prudential, financial crime, and conduct regulation. Assist in protecting the international reputation of the Bailiwick within the financial services sector. Provide expertise as a Senior Business Analyst for the Commission’s Data Transformation Programme. Identify supervisory requirements for new Information Systems functionality. Document opportunities for developing Information System offerings from both internal and external user perspectives. Identify and implement efficient data pipeline processes, encompassing collection, storage, transformation, usage, and reporting. Demonstrate an understanding of software development, on-premise infrastructure, and cloud-hosted platforms. Exhibit familiarity with project management methodologies and associated software tools. Re-engineer, test, and implement user workflows for new Information Systems. Liaise with divisional representatives regarding Information Systems requirements. Support and guide Business Analysts within the Division as needed. Produce accurate, clear, and concise written work. Contribute to meetings and discussions in a professional manner. Collaborate across teams and understand how your role contributes to overall success. Assist with training new staff and support team members' development. Take initiative to update professional and technical knowledge. Complete all work promptly to a high standard, ensuring quality and attention to detail. Job Requirements: Strong analytical skills with a solid background in business analysis. Familiarity with software development techniques and database management. Proficiency in project management methodologies, including agile and waterfall. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and support others.
