We’re seeking an Associate Director to oversee and deliver high-quality tax services for a diverse portfolio of client entities, while guiding a skilled team and shaping strategic tax policies. With exposure to UK, Crown Dependencies, and international structures, this is a leadership role where technical expertise meets real influence.
You’ll take ownership of the tax compliance and reporting function, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with the wider business strategy. From managing multi-jurisdictional filings to driving continuous improvement, you’ll play a pivotal role in both client delivery and internal leadership.
Responsibilities include:
Leading the tax compliance and reporting function, setting goals in line with group strategy.
Overseeing tax returns and reporting obligations across the UK, Crown Dependencies, and BVI, including VAT, ATED, and trust tax reporting.
Providing technical tax expertise and guidance to clients, colleagues, and senior management.
Managing and developing the tax team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
You should hold a professional qualification such as CTA, with extensive experience in UK company and trust tax, have proven leadership experience, ideally 8–10+ years in tax compliance and reporting, and possess strong communication skills. Be able to simplify complex tax matters for a non-technical audience and be a strategic thinker with exceptional organisational skills and a proactive mindset.
