Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their dynamic Transformation team. This pivotal role involves delivering change projects that address business challenges and drive efficiency across the organisation. The position is integral to facilitating operational change and improving client and employee experiences. Job Duties: Facilitate operational change by leading and coordinating modifications to core financial and process administration platforms (e.g., Viewpoint, BankClarity, Allvue) to enhance efficiency, control, and compliance, supported by clear business cases. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional and non-functional requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives. Implement process improvement initiatives, using ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ mapping, and delivering workflows that impact efficiency gains. Support the adoption of digital platforms by ensuring effective integration with existing solutions and user-friendly reporting capabilities. Analyse operational and financial data to track performance, identify trends, and support decision-making through visual reports and dashboards. Deliver training on updated processes and systems, providing guidance materials that encourage consistent usage. Proactively identify risks, manage an up-to-date RAIDD log, and implement and monitor mitigation plans. Produce accurate project and process documentation, including initiation papers and stakeholder communications, incorporating clear visuals to aid understanding. Engage consistently with stakeholders, providing regular progress updates to ensure alignment with objectives. Job Requirements: Proven experience in a similar role within finance or financial services, with a good understanding of operational and regulatory environments. A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvements. Strong proficiency in digital tools to enhance processes and support decision-making. Data literacy, enabling interpretation of data sets and creation of visual reports. Demonstrated ability to streamline workflows and ensure systems are fit for purpose. Excellent Microsoft 365 skills, particularly in Excel; experience with Power BI is advantageous. Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills, able to convey technical processes clearly to varied audiences. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities across various workstreams.
