Our client is a prominent provider of Fund Administration, Private Client, and Corporate Services, with a strong presence in the heart of Guernsey. As they embark on an exciting phase of growth and transformation, they seek a temporary Remediation Specialist to support their client remediation efforts. This pivotal role will involve ensuring compliance with internal standards and international regulatory requirements. The candidate will conduct detailed reviews of client files, assess the source of wealth and funds, complete risk assessments, and ensure data integrity within key systems. If you are analytical, detail-oriented, and committed to excellence, this position offers you the opportunity to make a significant impact over a six-month contract. Job Duties: Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients, including source of wealth and funds analysis. Prepare and complete risk assessments for clients. Ensure accurate client/entity data through diligent data review and updates in Viewpoint. Verify accuracy in client structure charts, identifying gaps and communicating with client teams for follow-up. Liaise with Relationship Managers and Trustees to obtain missing data or documents, providing clear explanations of requirements. Update client profiles and draft communications for client teams as required. Job Requirements: Strong understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) requirements. Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks, including FATCA / CRS, GDPR, Economic Substance rules, and sanctions screening. Awareness of local regulatory bodies and requirements (e.g., GFSC, JFSC, FSC). Ability to critically assess client files for gaps or inconsistencies, applying sound judgment in evaluating documentation. High accuracy in reviewing legal documents, ID and address verification, corporate structures, and beneficial ownership details. Diligent record-keeping and capabilities to keep file updates precise. Proficiency in trust/corporate administration systems, especially Viewpoint, alongside Excel, SharePoint, and internal CRMs. Professional and clear written communication skills for documenting actions and file notes. Comfortable liaising with internal stakeholders and occasionally with clients; able to escalate issues as appropriate.
