Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join their Banking and Insurance Division, responsible for the prudential and conduct supervision of financial firms licensed in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to participate in shaping the regulatory landscape while enhancing the region's international financial reputation. Job Duties: Ensure the Commission delivers effective prudential, financial crime, and conduct regulation within the Bailiwick. Engage with industry stakeholders to facilitate innovation and discourage subpar ventures. Assist in implementing PRISM risk-based supervision and policy development. Monitor developments in legislation, maintaining relationships with licensees and evaluating their compliance. Plan and draft consultation papers, including summarising feedback and communicating with stakeholders. Conduct research, analyse sector trends, and present findings to inform policy decisions. Prepare and lead on-site visits, compiling data and feedback for discussion. Draft policy proposals and assist with regulatory communications and special assignments. Represent the Commission both locally and internationally, conducting training and workshops as needed. Job Requirements: Strong analytical skills with experience in finance, banking, insurance, or related fields. Excellent written and oral communication capabilities, able to convey complex information clearly. Ability to collaborate across teams, demonstrating professional excellence and cooperation. Proven problem-solving skills, with a proactive and adaptable approach to changing priorities. Commitment to professional development and maintaining knowledge of regulatory standards.
