Back to ResultsA globally successful brand, designing, and sourcing client are looking to recruit a Buyers Assistant to work in their Fashion Department.
The role is a full-time role, working 40 hours per week, however they would consider part time (30 hours) for the right candidate.
In this role you be supporting your buyer with effective upward management of critical path issues, proposing solutions, and liaising with the global supply chain. You will work with buyers on any quality and delivery issues, understand the buying calendar and the range building process, as well as contributing to building a commercially balanced range through active participation in product strategy, competitive benchmarking, sales history, and creative influencing opportunities.
Full training in all aspects of the role will be provided
You will need to be ambitious and looking to grow with the company, always striving for improvements in all aspects of the business, you will need to be innovative and forward thinking, you may have studied a fashion related qualification, or you may be considering a career change, or you could be at the start of your career as a school leaver or graduate.
Our client is looking for someone who is able to prioritise multiple deadlines and manage time effectively, be a relationship builder and find communication easy with people at all levels, always wanting to improve and learn, with a desire to succeed.
You will need to have a keen eye for detail related to products, processes and systems, be a team player, someone who enjoys going above and beyond to help others in the team, and you need to be tenacious and have a positive ‘can do’ attitude in all things.
