In this role, the Supervising Accountant will provide critical support to the Central Finance department, focusing on accounting, financial reporting, and analysis. The Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions while maintaining the general ledger. Job Duties: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in compliance with accounting principles and company policies Manage the data input of bookkeepers within the group Oversee the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, reviewing reconciliations, and financial statements Prepare and analyse financial statements and reports, including profit and loss (P&L) statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements Play a lead role in the periodic billing cycles for the operational entities Support the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial expertise and support Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and internal controls Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Assist in the coordination of audits and compliance activities Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders Job Requirements: Minimum of 4-6 years’ relevant experience Educated to A Levels standard or equivalent Attainment of a relevant professional qualification, e.g. ACCA, ICA or equivalent Experience with financial reporting and analysis Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Ability to build morale and team spirit, acting as an ambassador of the group’s values What You’ll Love: Our client offers a stimulating work environment that encourages professional growth and collaboration among their team.
