Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee the operation and development of the compliance function for both regulated and non-regulated businesses. The role is full-time, with a focus on maintaining compliance with laws and regulations, ensuring the organisation meets its regulatory obligations. Job Duties: Act as the Money Laundering Compliance Officer (MLCO), Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), and Nominated Officer for the company's regulated entities. Review, prepare, and present reports to the Board of regulated companies. Conduct risk assessments to understand risk levels, significance, and scope. Maintain manuals and procedures in line with regulatory requirements. Structure, review, and implement compliance monitoring programmes. Update procedures for the non-regulated companies. Prepare periodic statutory returns to regulators. Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. Investigate irregularities and non-compliance issues. Contribute to the development of robust compliance controls within the organisation. Review presentations and websites to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Assist in gathering internal information in response to regulatory requests. Perform various general administrative duties, including file creation and maintenance. Collaborate with other departments to foster a culture of compliance. Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations. Provide training to other departments on compliance issues. Job Requirements: High level of experience within a compliance background is desirable, preferably in trust or insurance sectors. Sound knowledge of local Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Financing of Terrorism (CFT) frameworks and regulatory requirements, along with a good working knowledge of the GFSC Handbook. Compliance/AML qualification and/or professional body accreditation and relevant experience in a Compliance Officer role. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
