Our client is seeking a Human Capital Senior Associate for a full-time position within the People Operations area of the wider People Pillar, located in either Guernsey or Jersey. This role supports the delivery and ongoing management of the firm’s reward programmes, employee recognition initiatives, and benefits offerings. The incumbent will have oversight of the local employee recognition programme and be responsible for the day-to-day handling of the recognition system, including coordination with Payroll and other relevant teams. The position also involves supporting the Remuneration Sub Committee through communications and preparation of related materials. Close collaboration with broader Human Capital teams, such as Business Partners, Systems, Policy, and Talent Acquisition, is essential to effectively execute reward strategies aligned with business and People Strategy. Job Duties: Deliver high-quality people solutions in support of the People Strategy, aligned with the business areas and firm business strategy. Manage an annual cycle of key initiatives and drive efficiencies by leveraging a strong Human Capital knowledge base and innovative mindset. Support the delivery of high-impact reward, recognition, and benefits solutions aligned to the People and Firm business strategy. Manage and administer compensation and benefits programmes, including annual salary reviews, ad hoc compensation changes, and benefit renewals. Oversee the local employee recognition programme, ensuring smooth operation of the recognition system in coordination with Payroll and other stakeholders. Facilitate communications related to the Remuneration Sub Committee meetings, including preparation of documentation and updates on reward and recognition initiatives. Conduct competitor reward benchmarking and market analysis to inform reward strategies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date data related to compensation and benefits within HR systems, collaborating with Payroll and the Data Steward. Provide insights supporting reward-related decision-making in collaboration with Data Steward and Analytics teams. Ensure compliance with relevant employment legislation and internal policies in reward and benefits administration. Assist in the development and review of reward, recognition, and benefits policies and documentation. Participate in projects or initiatives related to system implementations, process improvements, or enhancements to reward and benefits offerings. Support regulatory requirements and reporting. Undertake other associated tasks as part of the People Operations team. Job Requirements: CIPD Level 3 or above (or equivalent) preferred. Must hold Entitled/Entitled to Work status (Jersey) or a Permanent Resident Certificate/Family Member Resident Permit (Guernsey). Experience supporting compensation, benefits, or recognition programmes is essential. Experience managing employee recognition systems and coordinating with Payroll functions. Strong analytical skills including data analysis and reporting. Experience with HR systems related to reward or benefits administration (e.g., Workday) desirable. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work collaboratively. Professional and resourceful approach with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively at different organisational levels.
