Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a temporary Financial Accountant for a part-time role lasting for 9 months. The successful candidate will undertake various month-end and daily tasks, providing crucial support for financial operations. Job Duties: Perform month-end reconciliations and Excel analysis of large datasets Assist in the creation of monthly management accounts Support regulatory reporting tasks, including financial resource calculations Conduct expense variance analysis Investigate discrepancies and collaborate with colleagues to resolve issues Sense check figures for reasonableness, such as accrued income and interest Complete ad hoc reporting tasks, often requiring basic data analysis and aggregation Follow established procedures for fee runs Process daily transactions, including interest rate changes and interest received postings Conduct bank reconciliations, with familiarity in client asset rules beneficial Perform daily reporting tasks, such as revenue and debtors summary reporting Assist in the accounts payable process, including invoice processing Monitor and process requests from accounts inbox or dashboards Provide cover and assistance across the team for various ad-hoc tasks Job Requirements: Previous experience in a financial accounting role Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables Attention to detail and ability to self-review processes Familiarity with reconciliation processes and regulatory reporting Good problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks What You’ll Love:This role offers the chance to play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the jurisdiction’s reputation.
