Our client is seeking an Assistant Manager, Custodian Trustee to focus on governance and regulatory monitoring functions, as well as various administrative responsibilities. The role includes reviewing and reconciling daily, monthly, quarterly, and other periodic valuations for Guernsey regulated funds. Job Duties: Maintain the breach register and monitor the status of Custodian Trustee checks Review annual financial statements and Scheme Particulars Manage Open & Closed reporting Handle notifications to the regulatory body and coordinate all aspects of external regulatory oversight visits Monitor regulatory activities of each fund Familiarise with and review the rules related to the schemes under Custodian Trustee responsibilities Assist in the investigation and review of actual and potential breaches and pricing errors Undertake daily, monthly, quarterly, and other periodic valuation reconciliations and complete the associated CMO checks Support the review and accuracy of procedure updates to ensure functionality and compliance Provide assistance to senior colleagues in completing the audit processes Job Requirements: Strong background in Guernsey Funds, with experience in custodian or administration Good knowledge and experience of the rules and guidance notes applicable to the Collective Investment Scheme business in Guernsey Working knowledge of pricing sources such as IDS and Bloomberg Proficient application skills in networking Clear communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Effective personal organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills Willingness to learn through internal and external training courses as required What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​This role offers the chance to play a key part in maintaining and enhancing the jurisdiction’s reputation.
