Our client is a prominent team in Superyacht management, situated in Guernsey. The organisation is part of a family-owned commercial shipping group headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. The Crewing Administrator will be accountable for the daily administration of crew employment and payroll functions for the group of companies. This role is essential for ensuring that crew records and vessel data are accurately maintained. Additionally, the Crewing Administrator will prepare reports and documentation, including the drafting and finalising of crew employment contracts. A key aspect of the role involves liaising with internal departments to facilitate timely payments to crew members. You will also ensure that seafarers meet the specified requirements set out by the Flag State and STCW, including monitoring qualifications and compliance. Coordination of crew travel and processing of Flag State documents will be integral to your responsibilities. Job Duties: Maintenance of crew records and vessel data Preparation of reports and records Drafting and finalising crew employment contracts and associated documentation Liaising with internal departments for timely crew payments Ensuring compliance with Flag State and STCW requirements, including pre-employment checks Coordinating crew travel requirements Processing Flag State documents and visas Arranging payments to crew using payroll software and online banking Assisting with crew-related projects Performing any other reasonable duties as required Job Requirements: Highly motivated to deliver exceptional service Excellent organisational skills Strong communication abilities Capability to work collaboratively and independently Ability to meet strict deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office packages Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Trainee or Junior Administrator Ideally, theoretical and practical knowledge of international and national seafarer certification regulations What You’ll Love: This role presents an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced industry that values your development.
