Back to ResultsOur client seeks a Marketing and Business Development Manager to play a critical role within the business, responsible for the smooth delivery of tactical and strategic business development and marketing campaigns. This position will work closely with the Office Managing Partner and internal clients to manage and develop a range of campaigns that are effective and client-focused. This role is full-time with a focus on maintaining marketing excellence. Job Duties: Provide input into developing group and local business plans and budgets. Monitor the local practice and office marketing budget. Work closely with partners and fee earners to undertake research to support new prospects and key clients. Proactively plan and interrogate business development activities with fee earners to ensure focus and relevance. Ensure business development trips are executed efficiently, including meeting arrangements and accurate information recording in the CRM system. Maintain the CRM system for the office. Coordinate activities in support of the local key client programme, including annual events. Assist with new business fee quotes and pitches as necessary. Provide marketing oversight related to managing local seminars, events, and client invitations. Write public relations content for distribution via online PR tools. Update the communication schedule with relevant office PR content timely. Draft press releases, editorial, and articles to promote the organisation's brand and capabilities. Maintain a publication and awards schedule for inclusion in marketing materials. Schedule and write social media content to support business development initiatives. Communicate office communication priorities for SEO plans and activities. Ensure consistent use of branding, imagery, and key messaging across all activities. Work with the Marketing Lead to analyse global analytics to support digital marketing development. Use digital analytics systems to extract relevant data for future communication tactics. Develop and distribute direct mail campaigns using the E Alert system. Update the website with relevant news and updates as necessary. Write and manage regular communications for colleagues in the office. Organise and manage informative colleague communications aligned to the budget. Coordinate updates to marketing collateral, publications, web content, and biographies. Attend regular meetings as a member of the Global Marketing Committee. Coordinate local public, community, and media relations, including opportunity identification and relationship building. Collaborate with the Charity Committee on the execution of the sponsorship and charity programme. Source and manage corporate gift supplies. Job Requirements: Marketing or business degree and/or a postgraduate marketing qualification. 3-5 years of business/marketing experience within a professional services environment, preferably in a law or financial services firm. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong management skills. Demonstrated creativity and initiative. Ability to communicate at all organisational levels.
