Our client is seeking a Senior / Fund Associate on a permanent, full or part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in fund administration or middle office functions, playing a key role in managing a small portfolio of clients and investment funds. This varied role requires a motivated and conscientious individual who can work independently while maintaining effective communication and awareness of broader business objectives. The role can be tailored to suit the individual’s strengths and interests, particularly if they possess a solid background in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment compliance. Job Duties: Involvement in fund administration for a portfolio of clients, including review and payment of invoices and expenses, supplier reviews, bookkeeping, and reconciliations. Scrutinising asset valuations, preparation of net asset value calculations, and involvement with management accounts. Reviewing compliance with investment restrictions and monitoring fund compliance. Responsible for record-keeping, maintaining registers, and monitoring tasks. Participation in investor reporting and communication with investors. Measurement and reporting of KPIs and management information, contributing to board and client reporting. Strong team player with effective communication skills and an attention to detail. Willingness to engage in ad-hoc tasks and projects as required. Job Requirements: At least five years of experience in a fund administration or investment middle office environment, covering various roles or client types. Preference for professionally qualified or part-qualified candidates, particularly those with accounting or compliance-related qualifications. Strong background in fund administration, fund accounting, or investment compliance. Comfortable liaising directly with clients and other business contacts. An interest or experience in developing systems and processes is advantageous.
