On behalf of our valued client, a respected and people-focused trust group, we’re seeking an experienced People & Culture Officer to join their Guernsey team. This role is central to supporting the full employee lifecycle and driving ongoing improvements within the HR function.

Please be aware that although this role is advertised at Officer level, our client is open to considering candidates at Senior Administrator to Senior Officer level.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the full employee journey—from recruitment and interviews to onboarding, induction, payroll administration and ongoing employee queries.
• Managing key benefits such as medical insurance and pension schemes, liaising with brokers and handling related documentation.
• Coordinating wellbeing initiatives, staff events and contributing to HR-related reporting, salary survey submissions and data analysis.
• Ensuring compliance with employment law, GDPR and internal policies, performing 4-eye checks, maintaining HR systems, and supporting sensitive employee relations matters.

This role would suit someone proactive, organised and confident in dealing with matters of a sensitive nature. Strong communication skills, high attention to detail and the ability to work to defined standards are essential. You’ll be comfortable advising managers, producing accurate documentation and taking ownership of tasks while understanding broader impacts and risks.
