Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator/Assistant Manager, Private Clients for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is based in Guernsey and offers a hybrid working arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering a portfolio of fiduciary structures in compliance with relevant Client Services Agreements and the laws and regulations applicable to the Group’s Guernsey regulatory licences. Key responsibilities include overseeing a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures, ensuring high-quality administration services are maintained, and collaborating with clients and various stakeholders to provide exceptional service. The role requires effective communication to keep client managers and directors informed at all times. Additionally, the incumbent will be expected to supervise junior staff and support the team lead with project oversight and management. The position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to significant fiduciary management while developing personal and professional competencies in a dynamic environment. Job Duties: Administer a portfolio of complex fiduciary structures to a high standard, ensuring adherence to all administration procedures. Carry out administration in line with up-to-date tax and legal advice, with support from the client manager/client director. Deliver timely, high-quality service to clients while maintaining effective communication with client managers/directors. Liaise with beneficiaries, investment advisers, bankers, auditors, property advisers, agents, and lawyers on matters related to fiduciary structure management. Manage invoicing fees and debt collection proactively and timely. Ensure all client entity files are current and accurately document Minutes and Meeting Notes. Assist in team management and supervise the development of junior team members as needed. Delegate routine administrative tasks to the administration team, maintaining oversight of their completion. Oversee designated projects from the team lead, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Understand risk factors associated with fiduciary structures, particularly related to trigger events, and seek guidance as necessary. Provide on-the-job training and guidance to junior administration team members. Take responsibility for FATCA, CRS, Payment Procedures, FID Reviews, and audit action points while engaging with auditors. Stay informed on current industry issues, such as interest rate movements and changes in legislation. Act as a signatory up to £50,000 on Bank Signing Schedules. Job Requirements: Proven relevant experience in regulated finance or professional services. Strong organisational skills and supervisory experience. Comprehensive understanding of the business and applicable market conditions. Relevant professional qualifications such as STEP or ICSA. Strong technical IT skills. Demonstrated commitment to personal development using available resources to achieve success.
