Our client is seeking a Finance Innovation & Transformation Lead to drive the finance transformation programme within their organisation. The role is centred around Guernsey or Jersey and is contracted for 37.5 hours per week. As a Senior Manager in the Business Enablement – Finance Pillar, the successful candidate will coordinate and execute strategic financial initiatives that aim to optimise financial performance and support the Head of Finance and Finance Director. This is an exciting opportunity to implement significant changes across people, processes, and systems while maintaining compliance with essential regulations. The Finance Innovation & Transformation Lead will foster innovation and leverage technology to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the finance function. Job Duties: Develop and execute a holistic finance transformation strategy aligned with business objectives. Manage the finance transformation programme plan and establish governance structures. Ensure alignment with the organisation’s strategic priorities and vision. Develop business cases for transformation initiatives. Coordinate activities across various workstreams focused on systems, process redesign, and data. Track delivery progress, identify risks, and manage dependencies. Redesign and optimise finance processes to enhance operational efficiency. Lead the selection, design, and integration of finance systems. Produce insightful reports for leadership and governance groups. Maintain high-quality project documentation and manage stakeholder engagement. Track programme budget and monitor resource requirements. Partner with the Finance Process Excellence & People Lead to promote behavioural change. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance transformation team. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Fully qualified accountant with a recognised UK professional designation. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in finance, focusing on transformation and consulting. Proven experience in delivering transformation or change programmes. Strong project management capability with a formal methodology. Deep understanding of finance functions, processes, and technologies. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Experience in systems implementation or digital transformation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset. Ability to work across multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
