Our client is pleased to announce a new opportunity within their Guernsey office, resulting from organic growth. This senior, cross-functional role is integral to the organisation, responsible for designing, governing, and optimising the data architecture. The ideal candidate will ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, accuracy, and availability across all systems. With a strategic ambition to achieve a single point of data entry replicated across connected systems, this position requires practical, hands-on expertise in API connectivity, data modelling, and data remediation. The role aims to enhance client service, improve staff user journeys, and build confidence in data integrity. Additionally, the post holder will lead the development and maintenance of management information reporting frameworks, providing Directors and the Board with clear, actionable insights. Working closely with the Managing Director, Directors, Head of IT, and operational teams, the Data Architect will ensure a trusted, secure, and well-governed data environment. Job Duties: Design, govern and optimise the organisation’s data architecture. Ensure high standards of data quality, consistency, accuracy, and availability across systems. Develop a single point of data entry across connected systems. Provide practical, hands-on expertise in API connectivity, data modelling, and data remediation. Enhance client service and improve staff user journeys. Build confidence in data integrity within the organisation. Lead the development and maintenance of management information reporting frameworks. Provide clear and actionable insights to the Directors and the Board. Collaborate with MD, Directors, Head of IT, and operational teams to maintain a secure and well-governed data environment. Job Requirements: Proven experience in data architecture, data management, business intelligence, or reporting roles. Skilled in reporting, data queries, and API/orchestration system connectivity, particularly for Salesforce and Acumen. Experience in operational risk assessments, business impact analysis, and/or cyber risk assessments.
