Our client is seeking a Trust Manager to oversee a team comprising relationship managers and administrators while managing a portfolio of client relationships. This pivotal role involves the management, delegation, and control of the team's routine processing, including aspects such as cash management and the exercise of discretionary powers. The Trust Manager will also be responsible for the maintenance of records, statutory or otherwise, and the review and monitoring of investment portfolios, ensuring that management information is provided to the senior management team. Participation in management meetings is crucial, where the individual will contribute to the enhancement and development of internal practices and procedures. Adhering to internal policies and procedures while providing an exceptional level of client service is vital. Additionally, the role requires ensuring that employee time chargeable utilisation targets are met and that invoices are raised and paid promptly. The Trust Manager will act as the primary relationship manager for several clients and intermediaries, actively seeking opportunities to develop relationships and cross-sell services. Job Duties: Manage, delegate, and oversee the team's routine processing Handle cash management and exercise discretionary powers Maintain accurate records, both statutory and otherwise Review and monitor investment portfolios Provide management information to the senior management team Attend management meetings and contribute to policy enhancement Follow internal policies and procedures rigorously Deliver exceptional client service Ensure timely invoicing and monitoring of ages debtors Act as primary relationship manager for multiple clients Seek opportunities for relationship development and cross-selling Supervise the team effectively Set SMART objectives and conduct performance management Provide on-the-job training and delegate tasks appropriately Maintain awareness of the regulatory environment Complete revcomp documentation and diarise follow-up action points Contribute to achieving satisfactory audit ratings Job Requirements: Relevant professional qualification (e.g., STEP, ICSA, or ACCA) Strong knowledge and experience of offshore trust and company administration Excellent personal organisation and time management skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills Proven track record of client service excellence and business development Experience in successfully managing a team while meeting billing and cash collection targets Good knowledge of Guernsey’s regulatory environment Willingness to travel at short notice What You’ll Love: Our client offers a dynamic work environment where you can lead and develop a strong team while delivering outstanding client service.
