Our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on Practice Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a full-time, permanent role. This position is the operational heartbeat of the clinic, responsible for overseeing the team, managing financial aspects, and enhancing the client experience. The successful candidate will have a direct line to the directors and will provide meaningful input into the strategic direction of the practice. Key responsibilities include ensuring all non-clinical departments operate smoothly, managing the reception and clinical support teams, and leading recruitment and onboarding efforts. Additionally, this role will involve driving staff retention initiatives and managing operational expenditures alongside the CFO, while meeting financial targets and reporting key performance indicators weekly. The Practice Manager will also own the client journey, resolve complaints, and champion improvements in Net Promoter Score (NPS). Job Duties: Ensure the smooth operation of all non-clinical departments Line manage reception and clinical support teams Lead recruitment and onboarding efforts Drive staff retention initiatives Manage operational expenditures and clinic budget Collaborate with the CFO to meet operational and financial targets Report key performance indicators on a weekly basis Own the client journey and resolve complaints Champion improvements in client satisfaction Job Requirements: Proven experience as a manager or senior administrator in veterinary or healthcare settings Strong people management skills with experience leading small-to-medium teams Financially literate and comfortable with reading P&L statements Calm under pressure, solutions-focused, and highly organised Excellent communication skills across all levels What You’ll Love:​​​​​​​This role offers a competitive salary, pension, and CPD support and funding.
