The successful candidate will collaborate with a dynamic pan-jurisdiction Knowledge Management Team to promote knowledge sharing across the organisation by maximising the utilisation of existing systems and available resources. This role will involve supporting the evolution of the KM database, ensuring ongoing growth in the volume and value of content. The Knowledge Management Administrator will assist with maintaining and updating intranet content, ensuring all legal and regulatory resources are accurate and aligned with the firm’s house style. Additionally, the successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for Partners and other Fee Earners requiring legal research resources, operate an enquiry service, and assist with the consolidation of relevant legislation for internal resources. Encouraging the use of the KM database and preparing documents for automated assembly are also critical responsibilities. The position involves managing client briefing repositories and liaising with other KM members regarding hard copy library resources. Job Duties: Support the evolution of the KM database to ensure ongoing growth in content. Assist with maintaining and updating KM intranet content, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the firm’s house style. Act as the first point of contact for Partners and Fee Earners requiring legal research resources. Operate an enquiry service for Fee Earners, including retrieval of cases not on internal resources. Consolidate Cayman and BVI legislation for internal legal resources. Encourage the use of the KM database and ensure all relevant documents are available. Identify and prepare documents for automated document assembly, coding them within the system as needed. Develop and maintain guidance, training materials, and best-practice resources related to KM. Maintain the client briefing repository and manage updates, including organisation of editing and authoring. Manage hard copy libraries and liaise with KM members regarding acquisitions and budgets. Keep relevant records and spreadsheets up to date. Job Requirements: Experience in using iManage, SharePoint, Visio, and Contract Express software is desirable but not essential. Experience with AI-enabled legal technology or knowledge tools is advantageous. Excellent interpersonal and relationship skills. Ability to perform legal research. Excellent time management skills with experience in working to tight reporting deadlines. Ability to ensure self-development in knowledge management affairs. Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to work independently. High level of proficiency with IT business software packages, including all Microsoft 365 applications. Ability to adhere to the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
