Back to ResultsOur client is seeking a Senior Trust Officer to join their Global Family Office Team, providing high-quality service to a multi-billion pound book of fiduciary clients. This full-time role involves engagement in all elements of finance, including banking and fiduciary services. The Global Family Office Team administers trusts, companies, foundations, PTCs, and PCC structures for some of the wealthiest families worldwide, focusing on bespoke high-touch fiduciary services. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of company and trust structures, collaborating with internal partners, tax/legal advisors, and investment managers to ensure excellent client service. This position offers the unique advantage of a fixed fee-based structure, eliminating the need for hourly billing. The role will also involve attending client and advisor meetings, preparing minutes and resolutions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements. Job Duties: Work on a mixed portfolio of company and trust structures on behalf of clients. Engage with internal partners, tax/legal advisors, and investment managers. Develop knowledge of fiduciary duties, standards, and practices. Collaborate with internal partners and external advisors to identify client needs. Prepare and execute minutes and resolutions as required. Execute all necessary authorised documentation and payments. Review financial statements. Act as a point of contact for clients regarding their fiduciary entities. Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory requirements. Document all decision-making accurately. Identify and resolve fiduciary risk issues. Work proactively within the fiduciary team to identify areas for improvement. Maintain all documentation/files relevant to each client relationship. Job Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in a fiduciary role. Understanding of regulatory requirements for Guernsey and offshore jurisdictions. STEP or ICSA qualification (preferable). Good written and verbal communication skills. Strong numeracy and computer skills, with a positive 'can-do’ attitude. Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise competing demands. Ability to perform under pressure and maintain flexibility in working hours.
