This temporary role is crucial to maintaining effective business-as-usual (BAU) operations within a significant programme of change at a leading international bank and wealth manager. The successful candidate will assist in strategic transformation initiatives across payments, custody, and core banking. The position offers an opportunity to enable the organisation to release capacity from core teams, ensuring continuity of operational delivery. As part of a collaborative and innovative environment, the administrator will handle various operational tasks that support successful execution of strategic initiatives. The role requires a commitment to meticulousness and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. Key responsibilities include processing SWIFT payments, managing client transactions, and supporting ad hoc projects, all while maintaining high standards of service. Job Duties: Prepare, input and authorise manual SWIFT payments. Process, review and repair Online SWIFT payments in a timely manner. Oversee Inward SWIFT payments and ensure timely processing. Monitor and release payments stopped in Safewatch. Initiate and respond to payment queries and investigations. Process Treasury Money Market deals, Foreign Exchange deals, and Treasury bills. Conduct internal transfers and process foreign exchange transactions. Manage BACS, Direct Debits and Standing Orders. Process Client Fixed Deposits and settle Visa card client spending. Monitor queues in the core banking system and central inboxes. Assist with ad hoc tasks and projects as required. Provide cover for holidays and sickness within known areas. Train and develop on additional roles within the team as needed. Job Requirements: Organised individual with a growth mindset. Strong inter-personal and communication skills. Collaborative team player with an ability to build effective relationships. Excellent attention to detail and numeracy skills. Strong risk awareness and the ability to learn quickly. Capable of prioritising and managing workflows. Proven time management and organisational skills. Accurate work ethic with the ability to function independently and within a team. Proficient knowledge of SWIFT payments, Nostro accounts and routing payments. Several years of general banking experience. Familiarity with Treasury operations and payment sanctions. Understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance processes.
