An established and highly respected international professional services organisation is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join its growing finance team in Guernsey.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional ready to take the next step into a more senior position, combining hands-on financial management with team leadership responsibilities across multiple international jurisdictions.

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting across several jurisdictions.
• Managing audit, budgeting, cashflow forecasting and financial statement preparation processes.
• Reviewing VAT returns, intercompany transactions and cross-border service accounting activities.
• Supporting, mentoring and developing junior team members while assisting with the day-to-day management of the finance function.

You should be a qualified accountant with strong technical accounting knowledge and experience operating within a professional services, trust, funds or corporate environment. You should also be confident supervising others and enjoy helping colleagues develop and achieve their objectives.
