Our client is seeking a Senior Administrator to join their Corporate Actions team within the back-office function of corporate banking. This full-time position offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic team, ensuring the efficient administration and processing of both standard and complex corporate actions, shareholder meetings, and related events. Ideally, they would like someone with 2-3 years’ experience within either custody, settlements, securities, or corporate actions to contribute effectively from day one. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, processing corporate action events, and providing excellent service to clients and internal departments. You will also have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in this specialised area and support team growth. JOB DUTIES: Upon receipt of corporate action events, set up and update files, ensuring that corporate action records are accurate and the diary system is maintained. Notify clients about all required corporate action decisions, meetings, and updates. Check and confirm client instructions to ensure compliance with mandates for signing and authorisation purposes. Update client account records to reflect holdings and cash movements, reconciling allocations and entitlements. Respond to client queries and communications in accordance with organisational guidelines. Investigate and report any identified issues, resolving them in compliance with escalation procedures. Develop an understanding of system support available, including T24, online links with sub-custodians and fund managers, IDS, and Microsoft Office systems. Assist in the Corporate Actions team by supporting development, offering guidance, and sharing knowledge for training purposes. Bring any accounts or transactions that raise suspicion of money laundering activity to the attention of the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO). JOB REQUIREMENTS: Possess in-depth knowledge and experience of corporate actions rules and established practices across all markets. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of various corporate action events and their impact on shareholdings and book-cost calculations. Exhibit strong personal organisation, prioritisation, and time management skills. Show in-depth working knowledge of the client’s computer systems, particularly in custody and banking elements, along with sound network application skills. Have a comprehensive understanding of global custodian software and corporate action information sources, such as IDS and company websites.
