One of our key clients - an established independent trust and private wealth business - is seeking a Head of Portfolio Office on a contract basis for 3 - up to a maximum of six - months.
You will have direct exposure to executive sponsors and Board-level reporting, alongside the opportunity to shape how a progressive financial services business delivers strategic change.
Responsibilities include:
Establish and manage portfolio governance, agreeing initiative plans, milestones, costs and benefits with senior sponsors.
Produce consolidated portfolio reporting, committee packs and Board reports, tracking risks, dependencies, decisions and actions.
Lead weekly working groups, resolve delivery obstacles and provide practical project support to keep initiatives moving.
Evaluate the framework’s effectiveness, recommend the future operating model and coach an internal colleague to ensure a successful handover.
You will bring experience of leading a portfolio, project management or transformation office within regulated financial services and possess excellent organisation skills, clear communication and the confidence to constructively challenge senior stakeholders.
