The Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for ensuring the effective management of all credit related risks within the business, the adherence to all credit principles, strategies and policies and the quality of business underwritten (both directly and indirectly by those with an underwriting mandate) to maintain lending book quality and minimise bad debt risk.
The role holder will be a member of the Management team and as such, play an active role in delivering strategic objectives.
Candidates should have a proven track record of credit risk management in a control or risk management function and should posses strong commercial acumen along with propositional analysis and stakeholder management. The ability to influence, lead and nurture a team and the capability to coach and mentor staff is also important.
