The role holder will be responsible for the delivery of the Human Resources function across all the offices and stations in the business network (including the Bailiwick and the UK). The role is responsible for directing and managing the HR function and is a member of the Senior Leadership Team with its main objective to act as an advisory body to the CEO for purposes of the cross functional coordination required to implement the decisions of the Board.
You will assume responsibility and oversight for managing all elements of HR to ensure compliance, minimise risk and maintain controls during the lifecycle of the employer/employee relationship. You will act as an HR Business Partner to Senior Management. Facilitate and promote the development of a cohesive work culture to meet business and employee needs. Deliver a consistent, efficient, and high-quality service of core HR functions relating to the employee lifecycle, including – Operational Matters, Recruitment, Productivity monitoring, Policies and Procedures, Strategic HR Management, Talent Management, Performance Management, Employee Engagement, Compensation & Reward, Budget Control, Employee Wellbeing and Management Reporting.
Candidates should have proven working experience as HR manager or other HR executive role, CIPD qualified with a minimum 10 years’ experience at a management level and broad knowledge of employment legislation (Guernsey) and understanding of UK employment legislation.
