We are seeking a detail oriented and highly organised financial statements specialist. The role holder will be responsible for leading client engagements to a high level of technical rigour, ensuring strong client relationships are maintained.
Responsibilities will include leading the preparation and submission of clients’ financial statements and disclosures; collaborating in the preparation of periodic reports for the company’s entities; coordinating with the firm’s tax reporting specialists to ensure that all tax aspects relating to financial statements disclosures are correctly incorporated; reviewing work products for submission to senior level staff sign off; taking responsibility for ensuring all relevant technical and industry related issues have been appropriately considered and are reflected in the reporting outputs and acting as the main client liaison and point of contact for all matters relating to the
account including status reporting and issue resolution.
Candidates should have relevant technical qualifications (ACA / ACCA, Accounting degree etc), deep, proven levels of technical expertise in preparing financial statements under UK principles, 5 years plus experience in working with large asset / investment management and / or real estate sector clients and able to demonstrate proficiency in working with relevant accounting software / tools (SAP, ORACLE, Yardi, MS NAV)
