The purpose of this role is to provide a critical support service to a team of 30 Installation Technicians installing Fibre Optic Broadband and Phone services across Guernsey.
Providing an ‘on demand’ service to the FIbre Installations Team, the Fibre Installation Assistance Engineers support working at heights, roadworks signing and guarding, cable pulling and installation, drilling and cable running.
Candidates are required to have a current category B driving licence and be comfortable working at heights (Telegraph poles or House Fascias/Gables), able to demonstrate the ability to work safely to protect themselves, colleagues, customers and the public, good at following working practices and procedures and basic Knowledge of cabling systems and techniques is desirable.
Experience in Customer Service or Operational environment is desirable as well as good communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
