The Business Risk and Control Manager is a critical role in ensuring that the business operates an effective internal control framework and manages risks in line with the organisation’s risk appetite. This role will ensure a positive risk culture, and initiatives are driven.
Responsibilities include successfully implementing the Risk Management Framework across all areas of the business, providing oversight of the regulatory reporting timetable, ensuring that contributors are sighted in advance of requirements, overseeing the effective operation of the Third Party Risk Management Framework and ensuring that all relationships are managed in line with framework expectations.
Candidates should have line management experience including day to day performance management and setting of team objectives, the ability to meet deadlines and project management skills are desirable.
