Back to ResultsA fabulous opportunity for an individual with an interest in Health and Nutrition to join this market leading direct to consumer e-commerce business where acquisition and retention of customers is a key focus, with several high profile and exciting plans in the pipeline to enable growth and innovation.
The Subscription Manager will be responsible for managing and developing the subscription programme within the marketing department, working with the CCO & Head of Retention to evolve the subscription strategy in the journey towards becoming a “subscriptions first” business.
This role will involve developing insights to optimise subscriptions, driving sign-ups through strategic promotional activities, enhancing customer service communications to ensure a positive customer experience, and implementing retention strategies to prevent cancellations.
Whilst this role is based in the marketing team, the Subscription Manager will also work closely with the customer service team to resolve subscriber issues, improve retention, and ensure smooth operations.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-driven individual who is passionate about driving subscription growth and retention. They will have a strategic mindset and be skilled in both customer acquisition and retention strategies. The candidate will be a proactive problem-solver who is comfortable collaborating across departments, especially with marketing, customer service, and data teams. They will demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret subscription data and deliver insights that influence business decisions. Adaptable and forward-thinking, the individual should also be able to work independently and within a team, showing leadership in the management of promotional and retention campaigns.
Candidates should ideally be degree educated with experience in a “Subscription First” business with a proven background in designing and implementing successful customer retention programs and a knowledge of legal requirements that govern subscriptions.
