Back to ResultsAn excellent opportunity for an accountant to work in a commercial environment on a temporary and part time basis.
The successful candidate will oversee the review of monthly financial information and support the finance team in daily operations. Key responsibilities include managing balance sheet reconciliations, reviewing finance team tasks (such as agency payments, bank reconciliations, and equals transactions), and producing accurate subsidiary management accounts. The role also involves covering for team members during absences, supporting colleagues in financial matters, and working with the Head of Finance to improve processes and efficiency.
You will preferably have experience with accounting systems (Sage Line 200 preferred), strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a professional, organised approach are essential. A relevant accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) is desirable. A basic Police Clearance Certificate is required.
This is a temporary contract for around 6-7 months with contracted hours being 20-25 hours per week.
