Back to ResultsJoin a leading Guernsey insurance firm as Head of Risk and Compliance, overseeing financial crime, regulatory compliance, conduct risk, and operational risk.
As Guernsey’s leading Risk & Compliance professional, you will act as the MLRO for the business and client companies. The role also includes serving as the primary contact for the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, leading and developing the local Risk & Compliance team, and ensuring the company’s Corporate Compliance policies are implemented locally, with training provided to employees as required.
We welcome applications from candidates with a recognised Compliance qualification (e.g., from the International Compliance Association or equivalent) and proven senior experience in compliance, risk, or financial crime within the Financial Services or Insurance industry. Board experience, including director-level or regular board-facing roles, is essential, along with the ability to provide independent challenge and clear advice. Strong knowledge of Guernsey regulatory requirements, including the GFSC Handbook and the AML/CFT regime, with practical application experience, is also required.
