Key responsibilities for this role include preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax compliance for a portfolio of trusts and corporate structures, supervising junior team members, and assisting with the management and oversight of the external audit process for all GFSC-regulated clients. In addition, you will assist with the timely preparation and submission of Guernsey tax, UK Corporation Tax, and VAT returns.
We are looking for an ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified professional with a minimum of five years' experience within the trust or fiduciary sector and a strong understanding of accounting principles relevant to the trust industry, including IFRS and UK GAAP. A high level of attention to detail, along with the ability to prioritise workloads and use your initiative, is essential for success in this role.
