Reporting directly to the CEO, you will hold prescribed regulatory roles—including Compliance Officer and MLRO—and serve as the key expert on all regulatory, legislative, and financial crime matters.
Working alongside the Chief Risk Officer, you will drive robust 2nd-line oversight, define risk frameworks, and ensure positive customer outcomes while adhering to group risk appetite.
The ideal candidate holds formal compliance qualifications, recent Guernsey regulatory approval as an MLRO/CO, and a strong background in financial crime oversight (insurance sector experience desirable). You should offer solid technical knowledge of local, UK, EU, and international regulations, paired with strong leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
