Back to ResultsThis role offers a fixed-term contract for six months to assist the IT Support team and the Application Development team by providing remote and customer-facing support for both applications and ICT-related issues and requests.
You will act as the first point of contact for the Helpdesk, diagnosing and resolving reported issues and user requests while accurately logging, prioritising and managing incidents. You will install, set up and programme mobile and desktop handsets, provide support and assistance to colleagues across departments including Engineering, Finance and HR, and produce monthly reports for management.
The right person for this role will have a genuine interest in IT and the ability to learn new systems quickly. Previous experience in a service desk or help desk environment is essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and web browser applications. The successful candidate will be organised, proactive and able to work to deadlines, with outstanding customer service skills.
