Back to ResultsA leading organisation based in Guernsey is seeking an experienced professional to join its Internal Audit team at either the Manager or Senior Manager level. Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, this dynamic role involves leading risk-based audit activity across the local business and its branches to ensure robust internal controls, governance, and risk management.
Depending on your experience level, you will either contribute to or directly lead the annual audit planning process, oversee end-to-end financial and operational risk reviews, and present clear audit findings to senior management. Key responsibilities include evaluating risk management frameworks, conducting issue closure validations, preparing Executive MI and Audit Committee reporting, and providing authentic line management leadership to support team growth.
The ideal candidate holds a recognised professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CIIA) and possesses a proven track record in internal audit, internal controls, and governance. You must display excellent stakeholder engagement skills, constructive challenge capabilities, and sound commercial judgement. Experience within financial services, IT auditing, or data analytics is highly desirable.
