Back to ResultsA leading private bank in Guernsey is seeking an ambitious graduate to join its Credit Risk Management team starting April 2027. Sitting within the Chief Risk Office, this 18-month Graduate Programme offers three dynamic rotations—including an international assignment—designed to build deep expertise in private wealth credit risk.
Working closely with local Credit Analysts and Relationship Managers, you will help assess, monitor, and manage the branch’s secured credit portfolio (including Lombard lending and mortgages). Key duties include analyzing client financial statements, preparing credit proposals, monitoring daily credit exposures and excesses, overseeing loan/security documentation, and contributing to periodic risk reporting.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accountancy, or Law (graduated within the last 3 years). You must possess an analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word, and a genuine interest in financial and real estate markets. Support toward professional study will also be provided.
