Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Legal Secretary/Risk Assistant to support the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) in driving the efficiency and precision of the Risk Function. This temporary assignment is for a six-month period, with a start date as soon as possible. The role is full-time and will be based in the office, offering 12 days of holiday throughout the contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative and governance support tasks, ensuring that all operations are handled with confidentiality and care. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail. This position requires a strong background in financial services, along with robust skills in MS 365. Job Duties: Provide proactive governance support and administrative assistance to the CRO. Streamline administrative processes and redesign/maintain the Risk SharePoint site. Improve document control and versioning systems. Create and manage the Annual Planner in MS Planner, ensuring key tasks are planned efficiently. Manage the CRO's diary and inbox, coordinating meetings and managing agendas. Prepare and distribute agendas, collate reports, and produce governance packs. Take minutes during meetings and track actions to ensure follow-up. Serve as a gatekeeper for the CRO, preparing briefing notes and tracking initiatives. Support presentations and management information while identifying opportunities for efficiency. Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Job Requirements: Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, Executive Assistant, or Senior Administrator, preferably supporting a senior executive in the financial or professional services sector. Strong proficiency in MS 365 tools, including SharePoint, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and MS Planner. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and manage documents efficiently. Proactive, autonomous working style, with a calm disposition under pressure. Detail-oriented and reliable, demonstrating strong judgement in handling responsibilities.
